Allied Health Assistants
Allied Health Assistants, also known as therapy assistants and AHA’s, are healthcare professionals who work under the supervision and guidance of our Occupational Therapists, Early Childhood Teachers and Physiotherapists to provide support to children.
Babies and Toddlers
At Bright Start we want to give back to our community and as such we have a FREE developmental Screening Service for Babies and Toddlers aged 0-18 Months.
Early Childhood Education
Our inclusive early education program is run by qualified and registered early childhood and primary school teachers who provide one on one support for all children’s academic needs, whether this be school readiness for pre-school aged children, or assistance with literacy and numeracy for upper primary school aged children, and everything that falls in between!
Group Services
We run a number of therapy programs however also appreciate that not every child will fit into a specific program – that is why we tailor each program to suit the needs of the children in it.
Intensive Therapy
Bright Start Therapy is one of the original companies in Victoria to establish and deliver Intensive Therapy programs across both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy disciplines.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational Therapy is a profession concerned with promoting health and well-being through occupation. The primary goal of occupational therapy is to enable people to participate fully in the activities of their everyday life.
Physiotherapy
Our paediatric physiotherapists are able to assess and treat a wide range of physical and neurological conditions from babies through to adolescents. With years of paediatric experience, the Bright Start team understand no two children are the same and ensure our assessment and treatment are true to this.
Telehealth
Telehealth is therapy delivered remotely via technology (i.e. a video call or phone call) with a health professional, for circumstances where it is difficult or not an option to access services face to face.
